Elevate Math Wyoming is excited to host a free, fractions “boot camp” for TCSD 5th grade students needing additional support to practice fraction skills and build confidence. Mastery of fractions leads the way into confidence with algebra, setting students up for long-term success in mathematics.

This 6-week, free “boot camp” will include 12 hours of intensive support for fractions, with a focus on fraction concepts and operations. Elevate Math WY is utilizing Marilyn Burns’ “Do the Math” fractions curriculum, a vetted and highly regarded program aimed at helping students solidify foundational skills in an out-of-school environment. We will review key concepts, play games, and regularly check in to ensure understanding and progress over the course of this 6 week program.

Who is this program for?

5th Graders enrolled in TCSD public schools needing additional support with foundational math concepts (specifically - fractions!)

Space is limited. REGISTER by Thursday, February 5th.

Elevate Math Wyoming will run a weighed lottery and notify all parents of acceptance into the program or placement on wait list by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6TH.
