Elevate Math Wyoming was excited to host a free, math enrichment intensive for TCSD 3rd and 4th grade students working at an advanced level with mathematical skills in the Spring of 2026.
This 6-week, free intensive included 12 hours of extension work aimed at challenging advanced math students. Elevate Math Wyoming used Kendall Hunt’s “Awesome Advanced Activities for Mentoring Mathematical Minds”, a vetted curriculum aimed at providing appropriately challenging extension work in the areas of geometry, algebra and multiplication. This intensive was facilitated in English and students were expected to explain and share their mathematical thinking.
Who was this program for?
3rd and 4th Grade TCSD students that are performing at an advanced level with mathematical skills. For current 3rd graders, this is determined through teacher feedback. For current 4th graders, this is determined through achieving an “advanced” score on the 3rd grade Spring WYTOPP assessment.
